Getting ready

When I first walked in to the hotel where the wedding party was getting ready, I was immediately struck by how calm and absolutely beautiful the bride was on her big day . Every single person there was glowing in happiness for the couple. Prior to their big day, we met and I always ask to have all of their special "little things" together such as perfume, earrings, shoes, all the things that the bride would like photographed as a part of their details to tell their wedding story. Along with her perfume, she had her bouquet which had a beautiful memorial ribbon wrapping the stems of the flowers with her grandparents photos. She had so many special details and I tried my hardest to capture all of her details so she can look back years from now and smile.

The Ceremony

The venue Desert Foothills Events & Weddings was breathtaking, the views of the mountains and open desert landscape made photographing the ceremony so easy. Throughout the barn the couple had so many cute decorations and took the time to present the brides godparents with a special gift. The couples friend started the ceremony off with a bang! As he walked down the isle he handed guests ice cold beers and set the mood for a fun time to come. As the bride walked down the sun began to glow behind the mountains. The groom saw his bride and his breath was clearly taken away. The brides Godmother presented the couple with the Mexican traditional lasso. As they sealed their wedding with a kiss the music of mariachis began and soon after the party began.

Let the Party Begin!

To say this couple knew how to have a good time is an understatement. The entire theme of their reception was "Fun!" from the tacos, to the donut wall , to the photobooth from Elixir Photobooth my husband and I forgot we were actually working. We had the most amazing time listening to the country music and watching all the happiness and dancing.
